A research scientist is attacked by a burglar and a refrigerated case, containing two gold-plated eggs, is stolen. But when Cathy questions the scientist, he denies the incident. Later, the burglar refuses to reveal the location of the eggs, not believing that they contain a deadly virus that he now carries.
A serious episode which coincidentally was the second of two episodes in a row to feature Peter Arne as the lead villain.
The illusion of a burglar, quietly sneaking out of some bushes, is shattered by a loud off-camera noise, like that of someone dropping cutlery.
A camera zooms in so fast that it totally fails to get Dr. Ashe in shot.
A similar incident occurs, this time when Cathy is in the scene - and later, when Cathy and Dr. Ashe are seen together. The camera swings away so fast that it has to quickly swing back to bring the actors into focus.
With Hillier entering, and Elizabeth leaving, Redfern's room, we again see the dreaded shadow of the boom mike, this time bouncing on Redfern's head.
Two off-camera coughs this time. One when Dr. Ashe explains to Cathy how the virus is grown in an egg, another when Redfern tells his associates that he'll be flying out of the country.
We also hear a sneeze, just after Dr. Ashe hangs up the phone when trying to contact Cathy.
Note that the studio lights dim while Redfern discusses his escape plans.
