Steed infiltrates a group of assassins, headquarted in the French Riviera, by robbing the leader and leaving his wife locked up. The owner of the club where Venus is singing is a member of the group and very reluctantly accepts Steed as a new member. But when Steed's first "victim" is seen still very much alive, Venus must give the performance of her lifetime in order for them to get out alive.
The highlights of this episode are some rather sexy appearances by the two female guest stars: Patricia Denys seen through the glass shower door at the beginning, and Edina Ronay wearing a spectacular black & white bikini at the end. Also nice to see that One-Ten can still "get the girl", once in a while. The Dave Lee Trio also does a full-length number (without Venus) as an obvious "time-killer".
In a disconcerting shot that lasts for a few seconds only, the extreme close-up of Steed's face suddenly switches to Dragna's before returing to Steed again.
A distant off-camera cough is heard just before Nicole's helper opens the door to find Siegal on the doorstep.
The shadow of the boom mike is seen moving across Cecile's head and shoulders as Steed introduces her to Dragna and Venus.
Later, a shadow moves around on a wall, during the scene when Steed states that they won't find Nicole's body.
As Venus sits at the piano, we can (just about) make out the reflection of a white-shirted technician move across the studio floor.

Dave (the pianist): "All right, Julie." (He should have said "All right, Venus", since the character waving goodbye was Venus Smith, not Julie Stevens.)
Venus: "Don't I get ignited for the occasional swim?"
