Everything that Steed loves is being destroyed, including the Bentley. The evidence seems to point to a jealous friend who defected to the East ten years before... But he is supposed to be dead?!?!?!
This is definitely one of the best of The New Avengers series. A lot is revealed about Steed's past, his character and compassion, and we also learn some of Gambit's history as well. Also the delectable Gabrielle Drake turns in another great guest performance.
As Steed is heading into the woods, following the sound of Crayford's voice over the loudspeakers, the reflection of the studio lights can be seen in the window of his house.
