The members of the Governing Committee of PURRR (the Philanthropic Union for the Rescue, Relief, and Recuperation of cats) are being found mauled to death, one by one. So Steed and Emma investigate and uncover a diabolical scheme to gain control of the entire country.
An episode not to be taken too seriously, this one is saved for me by my love of cats. Of course a guest cast that includes Gabrielle Drake helps take it up a notch as well.
The dreaded shadow of the boom mike, prevalent in the Cathy Gale era, is back... This time it falls across Steed's face as he is walking across the room in Major Nesbitt's house.
When Peters is talking to Angora he goes to pour himself a drink of milk, but the glass is already full so he quickly tops it off. Obviously this scene required at least one retake.
- From my own observations.
As Erskine is attacked on the farm there is a low-angle shot of the attack and the roof of the studio can be seen.

When he's using the Identi-Cat, Cheshire has to change the nose. To do so, he removes and replaces the top sheet. When he then has to change the eyes, he also removes and replaces the top sheet even though eyes and nose are clearly on two separate sheets.

When Dr. Manx's body falls out of the van in the final scene, a crew member's head can be seen behind Steed and Emma... likely there to break Manx's fall.
